The most important motivation for K-9
training is safety for you and your pet.
 |
Whether around
children, traffic or in situations when you need control. |
| All K-9 EAST
courses are geared towards teaching dogs that the handler is the "alpha" figure. From this viewpoint you can address certain conditions or situations in
you and your dog's environment. The most common request from K-9 EAST students is to solve
common obedience problems. Beginning with the Obedience I
class, the specific needs of your pet's behavioral problems are addressed.
| All breeds of dogs have different mannerisms and
characteristics in their personalities. Some are belligerent, others are stubborn, some
submissive or just down right naughty behind your back! |
 |
|
|
Common problems found in
household pet situations:

|
~ Jumping
~ Scratching
~ Barking
~ Chewing |
~ Climbing on furniture
~ Nipping or biting
~ Stealing food
~ Housebreaking
~ Fighting
|
 |
K-9 East training classes will address these issues and any
other problems you may be having. |
| Don't scream yourself silly when your dog
doesn't even know what "NO!" means. Come join a K-9 EAST training class and
we'll help teach you both.
You'll be able to go for walks without waterskiing down the
street behind your dog. Your dog will be controlled around children and other animals. You
can leave the house without worrying what surprises you'll come home to. |
|
Varying degrees of guidance must
be given and K-9 EAST will show you techniques and methods to teach your dog -- balancing
motivation, correction and praise so your dog will understand the task at hand in a calm,
clear manner.
